Vasculitis is a family of potentially life-threatening rare diseases linked by blood vessel inflammation and a dysregulated immune system. It affects people of all ages and both sexes. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are critical for patients to regain their health and avoid death.

H2020 project RELENT was launched to address the unmet need for better ways to individualize the treatment of chronic autoimmune and inflammatory diseases such as vasculitis. The aim of RELENT is to reduce the unacceptably high morbidity and mortality that is caused by these diseases.
